What is the PhD stipend for non-JRF or non-NET microbiology scholar?

<p>The usual stipend is 8,000 rupees per month under the UGC Non-NET Fellowship. Some universities may offer a bit more through their own internal fellowships, but it depends on the institution and available funding. Private or research-focused universities sometimes provide higher stipends, but that's not very common. So, unless you're funded through a project or internal scheme, INR 8,000/month is the standard.</p>
