Due to increase in crime rate and criminals, the scope of Forensic Science is increased exponentially. There are lots of job opportunities in the field of Forensic Science. The need of forensic scientists is huge all around the world, especially in India. Some of the forensic scientists visit the crime scene to collect the evidence themselves and another one work in a forensic laboratory to perform analysis on objects. I can help you better if you specify a college you desire for. If I talk about the scope of Forensic Science in India, it is not really a good paying field. Forensic Science is all about how you apply knowledge of physics, chemistry and biology to solve a case. It's not in demand. The starting salary is around 3 to 4 lacs PA.
