    ok, as far as I know,
    The LPU Placement Policy is straightforward. As one approaches the pre-graduation year, the placement fever begins to set in. It begins in the sixth semester for B.Tech and four-year courses, and in the fifth semester for three-year courses (may varies).
    One must select placement as a career option throughout their first two years and pass tests in order to be eligible for placement. Students are divided into service-based and product-based categories.

    Dear , Most LPU students are assigned after campus interviews. Put simply, you shouldn't be concerned about this. You may SEE the placement policy on the website. You may check it out. LPU placement activities begin in the sixth semester for four-year programmes and the fifth semester for three-year programmes. One must enrol in the placement classes if they want to take part in campus recruitment activities. Each subject has a specific seat allotment.     Dear student, LPUs placement policy is listed below directly from LPUs official website:
    Students are required to follow the Placement policy of the University as inforced from time to time; failing which he/she may be debarred from placement activities or any such other action. The University only provides assistance to eligible and interested students for placements and does not guarantee the placement, companies visiting the campus for placements, packages being offered by them and any other activity related to placement.
