What is the placement policy at LPU?

ok, as far as I know, The LPU Placement Policy is straightforward. As one approaches the pre-graduation year, the placement fever begins to set in. It begins in the sixth semester for B.Tech and four-year courses, and in the fifth semester for three-year courses (may varies). One must select placement as a career option throughout their first two years and pass tests in order to be eligible for placement. Students are divided into service-based and product-based categories. After choosing placement, students are required to pay placement costs. The prices cover PEP classes as well as industrial preparation programmes such classes in coding, interview preparation, soft skills development, and aptitude. Before the start of the last semester, the majority of best enterprises and MNCs pack their bags.

Dear , Most LPU students are assigned after campus interviews. Put simply, you shouldn't be concerned about this. You may SEE the placement policy on the website. You may check it out. LPU placement activities begin in the sixth semester for four-year programmes and the fifth semester for three-year programmes. One must enrol in the placement classes if they want to take part in campus recruitment activities. Each subject has a specific seat allotment. For example, groups of CSE students work on product- and service-based firms (at least 120 seats). Students must pay placement fees if they choose to take part in placement drives. Dear student, LPUs placement policy is listed below directly from LPUs official website: Students are required to follow the Placement policy of the University as inforced from time to time; failing which he/she may be debarred from placement activities or any such other action. The University only provides assistance to eligible and interested students for placements and does not guarantee the placement, companies visiting the campus for placements, packages being offered by them and any other activity related to placement. However, University may impose conditions (academic or disciplinary or otherwise) like scoring specific CGPA and/ or maximum number of permissible backlogs/ re-appears for placement activities. If a student is selected by a company and he accepts the joining, university may take certain amount as a security from the student to ensure he joins and stays with the concerned company for minimum one year or as decided by the university to maintain credibility of the university in the eyes of the company. If a student is interested for placement, then university may prescribe certain training, workshop, courses, benchmark tests or any other test/ activity, etc. as deem fit by the university inside or outside the campus for which student will bear the cost.
