As a ex CSE student of LPU, I can answer this question better. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. Curriculum in CSE branch is very well designed such that they can learn everything from basics to the in-depth knowledge of their field. The College takes them for the industrial visit for more growth and experience. It hands on experience by also working on live projects to develop a sense of problem-solving, and critical thinking in order to gain real-life understanding along with skill enhancement. In B.Tech, you have to study all the engineering subjects, But if you opt for B.Tech Hons. Then you have to study only one of the engineering subjects in more depth. So, in B.Tech you have to study all the subjects given by colleges. But in B.Tech Hons. You have to study only one subjects which you like the most and you get specialisation only in one subjects. So, according to my opinion, B.Tech Hons. Is the best option, In nowadays there is a very great demand for Hons. Degree. Choosing the best university with good placement is also important, I would recommend LPU based on my research that I have done by interacting LPU B.Tech students. Let me share few details of this programme at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students on the basis of their academics and extracurricular activities and other factors. M.Tech is a postgraduate degree of two years. It is one of the most demanding courses among the Software Engineering domain. This course covers all the aspects of technicality related to programming and software development. As per my knowledge and findings, I must say that LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. As far as M.Tech in CSE is concerned, The placement record of CSE from LPU is phenomenal. Every year LPU breaks its own record in terms of placements.
