Another major advantage is the proximity of Chandigarh University to IT hubs at Mohali, Panchkula, and Chandigarh, enabaling industry connectivity. Their programme is globally reconganized through ABET and NBA accreditation, presenting a great option for pursuing engineering.</p>

<p>Hi!</p><p>I really don't know about LPU, I know only about Chandigarh University, so I can tell you about it. The placement of CSE at university is really amazing.&nbsp;</p><p>The university got a record in the Limca Book for bringing the highest number of companies for placement in one year. I even read somewhere that they guarantee 100% placements with big companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Vistara, VMware, IBM, Mindtree, and Google.&nbsp;</p><p>Placement don't just happen overnight. The university has a special department called The Department of Career Planning and Development (DCPD) that works all the time to help the students. They provide training, prepare students for interviews, connect them with top companies, and even help in building resume, conducitng mock interviews, and group discussions. The university makes sure students are fully ready before they step into the professional world.</p>

Campus Placements for the session 2021-22 saw some big names such as Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&amp;T recruiting engineering students from Chandigarh University. A record number of 3750 engineering students were selected during the campus placements in which more than 240 multinational companies participated. In total there was a jump of 30% in number of total companies visiting the CU campus for campus placements of engineering students while there was jump of 70% in the number of core branch companies which selected the fresh talent. Moreover the total number of offers made to the engineering students also saw a rise of 60% in comparison to last year. Of the total 240 Engineering sector companies, more than 290+ MNCs offered pay-package of more than 5 LPA while number of companies offering package of more than 10 LPA touched 70+ this year. It is notable that the highest package of Rs. 36 LPA was offered by TOP Company.

In terms of CSE and also overall, Chandigarh University has a better placement record as compared to LPU. In the year 2020, during the pandemic, Chandigarh University recorded a groundbreaking 5000+ placement records. Records can be checked on the cuchd. In the website as well. CU has the largest virtual multinational placements as well. Also, you should look into the recent NIRF Ranking, Chandigarh University has ranked 61 in Engineering. These rankings play a very important role in getting you good placements, academic records, and also better opportunities. Only 3 Universities of the tri-city ranks amongst the top 100 Overall Universities Rankings. Chandigarh University ranks 1st amongst the Top Private Universities in the Overall Rankings.
