What is the placement record of civil engineering this year? Do any government company come for civil department?

The placement of the civil department is not good, people from civil department are mostly placed in mass recruitment or consultancy services. I won't suggest you to take VIT, Chennai if you want placement in the civil department. But if you prefer doing higher study then you can take.
