If you are studying in a branded college like IIT, NIT, BITS Pilani, Jadavpur university then department turns out to be crucial regarding packages offered. Except CSE and IT no department has done wonders on placement considering the whole batch. Placement solely depends upon a candidate and placement options are available in good colleges only.
