What is the placement record of LPU?

CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. The course provides instil knowledge in the major areas of Computer Science and Engineering such as Artificial Intelligence, Networking, Databases, Data Analytics, Web Development and Cloud Computing.Student will be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country Professional Enhancement- In addition to core curricula, course offers subjects like communication, analytical and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. University has tie -ups with Upgrade for few B.Tech specializations. It is one of its kind, undergraduate programme to impart expertise of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence having the right mix of industry and academic experts. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are increasingly augmenting and extending to practically every technology enabled service, gadget or application. From Google to Microsoft to Apple, Computer Science students of LPU are working with hundreds of leading IT giants of the world. CSE/IT students secured salary package of up to Rs 42 LPA and placement opportunities from companies like Amazon, Adobe, Bosch Engineering, VMware, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Kony India, SAP Labs, Schneider Electric India, HP India, LG Soft India, ITC Infotech, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, KPIT, Morgan Stanley, Drishti Soft Solutions, etc.Last year Tanya Arora from B.Tech CSE got 42 LPA from Microsoft. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 42 LPA, while many failed to do so. On an average the CSE students of LPU is offered and placed in the starting package of 4.5 TO 6 LPA(Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that.

Hello,LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, Cognizant Technology Solutions etc. And generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session.

With almost 300+ companies visiting the campus for recruitment There are immense opportunities to get placed for a student with decent marks and fair knowledge. There are a lot of efforts put across for making students ready for placements from aptitude test to interview process.

In case of placement the job of university is to get the best company for campus placement or get the students connected to maximum no. of companies. Another most important job of the university is to prepare the student well for placements. This is one of the most important job to be taken care by the university.Just connecting the student to the company is not enough, preparing the student for the cracking the interview is more important. I being the LPU alumni, really appreciate the efforts of the Placement Enhancement Programs team for preparing the students from the first semester itself. They focus on not only the technical part but also on other aspects of cracking the interview. LPU faculties prepare the student from scratch, focusing upon their communication skills, dressing sense,preparing CV, addressing seniors, responding questions, handling situation and many more. LPU prepares the student to such level, that at the later stage of your life, if you are planning to switch, such tips and tricks will be your saviour. So, At LPU , you will be no. of opportunities to give your best. Another important factor towards placement is Training and Internship. At, LPU internship is a part of curriculum so, it is mandatory to attend. LPU also helps you in fetching the best training and internship option. Year-on-year LPU has been setting new records with regard to students placements. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services (team of about 40 persons), Centre for Professional Enhancement and faculty/staff from parent Schools. Aspiring Minds presented the National Employability Award 2022 to LPU for being amongst the Top 10% Institutes in India that excelled in AMCAT for the 2nd consecutive year, basis the students performance. LPU is ranked 10th Best Training and Placements Institutions in India for 2019 by The Knowledge Review. .On an average, more than 1000 companies visit every year for various industry-academia activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU The highest package offered during LPU placements 2022 stood at INR 64 LPA.
