CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies.
Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too.

From Google to Microsoft to Apple, Computer Science students of LPU are working with hundreds of leading IT giants of the world. CSE/IT students secured salary package of up to Rs 42 LPA and placement opportunities from companies like Amazon, Adobe, Bosch Engineering, VMware, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Kony India, SAP Labs, Schneider Electric India, HP India, LG Soft India, ITC Infotech, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, KPIT, Morgan Stanley, Drishti Soft Solutions, etc.Last year Tanya Arora from B.Tech CSE got 42 LPA from Microsoft.
The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 42 LPA, while many failed to do so.
On an average the CSE students of LPU is offered and placed in the starting package of 4.5 TO 6 LPA(Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that.

LPU is better option, in terms of placements, best curriculum, infrastructure, well-experienced faculty and provides hands on experience on latest technologies. With almost 300+ companies visiting the campus for recruitment
There are immense opportunities to get placed for a student with decent marks and fair knowledge.
There are a lot of efforts put across for making students ready for placements from aptitude test to interview process.

Year-on-year LPU has been setting new records with regard to students placements. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services (team of about 40 persons), Centre for Professional Enhancement and faculty/staff from parent Schools.
Aspiring Minds presented the National Employability Award 2022 to LPU for being amongst the Top 10% Institutes in India that excelled in AMCAT for the 2nd consecutive year, basis the students performance.
LPU is ranked 10th Best Training and Placements Institutions in India for 2019 by The Knowledge Review.

Campus placements at Lovely Professional University have always been a sought-after affair for final-year students. Recruitment drives and fairs are held regularly and apart from this, other facilities such as resume writing, career advisory services, aptitude development workshops are held for the development of students.
Industry-leading companies come every year to LPU to participate in recruitment drives. In 2019, Microsoft selected an LPU student offering a salary package of INR 42 LPA. It created a record of the highest package received by an engineering fresher in North India.
