What is the placement record of Thapar University for M.Tech (CS)?

I am a final year student of BE from an average college and am thinking about taking a year drop. Should I go for Thapar University instead? I have qualified GATE with 3 marks and don't want to do M.Tech from any unworthy college. Please guide.
