What is the placement scenario at IFMR? I’ve heard that students are offered around 5-6 lacs on an average.

Placements have been promising at IFMR since inception. Currently for the outgoing 2014-16 batch, the highest salary offered is 14.5 lacs p.a and the overall average is 8.75 lacs p.a. We have companies like Credit Suisse, HSBC, Barclays, Bank of America, J.P Morgan, CRISIL, Genpact, Cognizant etc visiting our campus for recruitment and have offered very demanding and attractive roles to the students.
