I am not sure about IMT but can comment on LPU which is best and renowned university. One of my neighbourer who studied from LPU appreciated the hard efforts of the organisation in placements. More than 700 companies visit LPU every year for campus-recruitment of students. I personally believe that output is the function of inputs means if input is good, output has to be, so is the case for the placements of LPU. My neighbourer told that LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognozant, SAP, Microsoft etc. To provide updated curriculum. LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. Apart from this, LPU offers the following:
1. Rankings
2. Updated Curriculum
3. Industry Exposure
4. Good placements
5. Community Projects
6. Centre for Excellence
7. Internal and external competitions
8. Trainings
In order to get the above learning and exposure, I will advise you to book the seat before 31-7-2020 to fetch maximum scholarship. Hope this helps.

It is not like any other university, you can SEE it from the first step of selection, even Iims have basic eligibility of 50% in graduation, while LPU has raised the bar to 55%. No wonder it has one of the largest intakes in the country which has over 97% placement record. I am not so aware about IMT, But I have heard a lot about LPU. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students.
