What is the placement scenario in Thakur & Atharva for students who do not have any work experience?

For Thakur, companies come for general category ( freshers or experienced are not evaluated separately). Later on during your interview, you can talk to them but again that depends entirely on the companies visiting.
As for Atharva, you can contact the college. I won't be able to give information on that. -

There's basically no difference between them. It comes down to a point on how you crack the interview.Rest its same for campus recruitments.
