    Agriculture is the classifications name for the farming industry. It refers to the production of goods through the growing of plants and fungi and the raising of domesticated animals. The study of agriculture is known as agricultural science. The related practice of gardening is studied in horticulture. The duration of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture is four years.

    LPU provides lots of opportunities to its students for placements and internships and offers a great industrial exposure. LPU agriculture students got a package of 1Cr. Overall more than 10,000 companies visit LPU for placements and offers the highest placement packages.

    Hi Sakshi,
    Agriculture is a primary source of livelihood for the majority of Indians. Thus, generally it remains the last priority among students choosing a career option.
    Which is a very wrong assumption.
    Agricultural graduates have wide scope of career in public sector and private sector. In fact entrepreneurship is a great opportunity to pursue your prospective career in agricultural field. It is just a myth that Agriculture does not offer job opportunities.

    LPU has good placement records. For agriculture, it has a record of 1 crore per annum by Monsanto, a Canadian company. Even the curriculum and exposures at LPU are appreciable.

    LPU has good placement records. For agriculture, it has recorded up to INR 1 crore per annum by Monsanto, a Canadian company. Even the curriculum and exposures at lpu are appreciable, I would any day recommend LPU.
