    LPU is good for automobile engineering. Good placements in core company as well as software company. Other than participating different events like go kart, project expo, entertainment events like one India, one world etc. Practical based learning and valuable guest lectures also. I shouldn't even have to explain this one. Various major companies take part in recruitment at LPU every year, some as Volkswagon, Voltas, Anglo Eastern Ship Mgt. , Asahi India, Rockman (Hero group), Dharam Consulting, Samundra, Indo-MIM, Sandhar Technologies, JK Lakshmi Cement, Maruti, Lava, XL Dynamics, Asahi India, Cleanmax Solar, Elgi Equipments, etc. On

    As it is a huge industry, there are great employment opportunities in Private National and Multinational Automobile companies, Service Stations, Private Transport companies, Defense Services and Self Employment by setting up Automobile Garage or Maintenance Workshop.     One of my friend was enrolled in B.Tech Automobile as well. Few major point I will be sharing about LPU, I hope that helps. LPU is good for automobile engineering. Good placements in core company as well as software company.     There are a host of job opportunities for an automobile engineer in production plants, service stations of automobile companies, automobile manufacturing industries, motor vehicle departments of control, transport companies, insurance company experts, and state transport corporations, etc.

    According to payscale. Com in May 2014, automotive engineers employed by General Motors earned the most, with an average salary of $84,000. Chrysler Group LLC offers a lucrative if unbalanced payroll, with top-end employees earning around $120,000 but a median salary of only $79,000.

    A graduate engineer at a major OEM (original equipment manufacturer, i.e. carmaker) gets a stipend of Rs. 28,000 to Rs. 30,000 a month during training. This can go up to Rs. 40,000 till s/he is confirmed. A line leader/assistant manager can earn anything from Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 80,000 a month, depending on their experience in the industry.
    According to PayScale India, an automobile engineer can earn anywhere between Rs. 250,000 and Rs. 600,000 per annum including average bonuses and commissions received on the job.     See, in India, there are very less automobiles manufacturing plants and in those also almost all the jobs are grabbed by the top college graduates like graduates of IITs and IIITs and hence for the private colleges and also the state governed colleges there are very chances of getting job. So, choose accordingly.
