    Hello Adarsh Upadhyay, Polytechnic is a term that is normally reserved for a college or an institution which imparts training for teaching to students who have taken admission for becoming Diploma holders in engineering. Now a days many state governments conduct an entrance exam for screening students who have passed 10th examination for giving admission based on merit in this entrance exam which is sometimes called as Polytechnic entrance exam.
