What is the position of SRM College compared to VIT?

Both of them are almost similar, and one can choose it according to his personal choice of campus and type of crowd.

Obviously, it is VIT, not because I am a student of VIT. It's a very genuine answer and I do have friends in SRM. My answer is purely based on my perceptions and experiences. The reasons why VIT is better than all the institutions in Tamil Nadu are as follows, They stand by their words "A place to learn and a chance to grow" is the university's tagline. As the line says, the campus truly provides a lot of other additional opportunities to the students. In terms of student's clubs and chapters, it has more than 30 in each category and students have taken them quite seriously to make sure they learn and develop a skill. The best part is that the university supports and monitors it fully by having a separate department called the student's welfare. I am part of Toastmasters International in VIT (Student's Chapter) and I got hugely benefited from it. I stand today as a certified professional leader and a public speaker at the age of 21 just because of my involvement and University's support. The next is the espouse that students get. Individuals are there from all parts of India literally and once you get out of this campus (graduate) you are sure to have at least one friend to catch up for a coffee at every state you go or even city. My contact list right now is filled with friends from every part of the country and I am very proud of my networking circle. VIT is a networking campus more of hanging out types like other institutions.
