Aah, please do not fall for this trap of converting percentile into marks. For given marks, percentile can very widely. Percentile is actually an indicator of one's relative position as compared with others in the exam. With multiples sessions of exams like JEE Mains being conducted over different days and months, difficulty level can not be ensured as exactly same. Under such circumstances, percentile has come to the rescue to the organisers if such exams. You can only extrapolate based on your personal example but this also could go wrong as student in another session with same marks can have better or worse percentile...more
