What is the procedure for admission if LPU NEST is not given?

LPU B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture programme is a 4 year course. B.Sc. Agriculture is one of the most booming course these days. This programme equips students with all-round knowledge of sector and normally includes the following: Agronomy: Basics of Agronomy, Kharif and Rabi Crop, Crop Protection, Weed Management, Irrigation Techniques, Water Resource Management, Organic Farming, Sustainable Agriculture. LPU is the first private university, to get the ICAR accreditation done for agriculture courses, not only this LPU has allocated a specific land for the practical learning and growth of agriculture student. Due to covid 19 impact LPU relaxed eligibility norms for the admission session 2020. Eligibility for the same is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. LPU NEST is not compulsory, it will act as a scholarship test only. It is candidate choice to give this exam for scholarship benefits. Agriculture (Hons) is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English Physics Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent.
