Entrance exams, particularly the JEE Advanced test, are the main means of admission. The only candidates eligible to appear in JEE Advanced are the top 2.5 Lacs students from JEE Main. Students who meet the requirements to sit for JEE Advanced must then take the test and achieve a score higher than the IIT Hyderabad cutoff. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process is used to make the final admissions selection of students.
