    Hi,
    As you brother is pursuing is diploma, he can join marine engineering after completing his diploma and 87% is a good score.

    Dear Dhivya,
    Yes, you can do b.tech & get admission directly in 2nd year of engineering. For that, you have to appear in LEET exam conducted by each state university.
