    Hi Avneesh, to help you, merchant navy is the most prestigious careers available in India. It offers the candidates an opportunity to travel the world and have an adventurous filled work environment. There is a boom in this sector with handsome salary package.
    You can enter it right after your 12 (PCM) after completing 1 years pre-sea training as a deck cadet. The age of the candidate must also be less than 20 years of age.
    After completing B.Sc.(Nautical Science) in the officer cadre which will lead you to become captain after 5-7 years of experience.
