What is the procedure of getting a job after doing B.Sc in actuarial science?

Career prospects are good and ever increasing. You may find it difficult to find first job. It may take around 6months if your time to find a decent job as a fresher. Once you get through, there are many vacancies at upper level. You may start looking for a job after clearing CT1,3,5,6. You should be open to relocate as few cities have actuarial opportunities. Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, chennai, pune, gurgaon and harldy any other. Conventionally people work in insurance after starting actuarial science but I prefer data analytics job as more convinient, preferable and well paid over insurance sector. Your ability to understand data will be much more as an actuary as compared to anyone else. It won't be much difficult to find a job in data analytics, business intelligence. Minimum fresher package in India varies from 2.5-5lakhs per annum and that's goes to around 30-40 lakhs PA as u become and actuary. Further, with experience, it tends to get even better. (In insurance industry) Packages are much better in data analytics. Around 4-7.5lakhs as fresher is normal. Do not skip graduation plus do PG too if possible.
