What is the procedure of IIM of calculating the cut off (with 10th 12th and graduation marks)?

JB, The required percentile for IIM at individual sections i. e (PVRC, PDILR, PQA and PT) level are 70 for each and 80 overall for general category. The academic qualifications at IIMs scores are calculated as under :- 1. Application rating (AR) for 10th class is calculated according to percent marks as follows :- Percent score in 10th Std. Exam Rating Score A Less than or =55 1 More than 55 but less than or= 60 2 More than 60 but less than or= 70 3 More than 70 but less than or= 80 5 More than 80 but less than or= 90 8 Above 90 10 2. Rating Scores for the 12th Std. Examination (Rating Score B) is calculated as follows Percent score in 12th Std. Exam Rating Score B Less than or =55 1 More than 55 but less than or= 60 2 More than 60 but less than or= 70 3 More than 70 but less than or= 80 5 More than 80 but less than or= 90 8 Above 90 10 3. Rating Scores for the Bachelors Degree Examination (Rating Score C) is calculated as follows Percent score in Bachelor degree Exam Rating Score B Less than or =55 1 More than 55 but less than or= 60 2 More than 60 but less than or= 62 3 More than 62 but less than or= 65 5 More than 65 but less than or= 70 8 Above 70 10 With the help of above Normalized AR score is calculated as : AR of applicant is divided by average of top 50 AR score from the applicant pool. Composite score =0.3 (Normalized AR score) + 0.7 (Normalized overall score in CAT-2018) The final selection score is calculated as following :- The FCS of a candidate who appears in AWT & PI will be computed as follows: FCS = 0.50 (Normalized PI Score) + 0.10 (Normalized AWT Score) + 0.40 (CS). The normalized PI and AWT scores of a candidate are their scores in the respective field divided by the average of the top 1% scores in the same field respectively.
