You should go for very hard determination and hard work and clear GATE exam. it is 3 hrs ,65 questions exam . it requires proper strategy , proper plan and the implementation of that plan

Gate it self is a exam. any engineering student in last 7 or 8 semester or even pass out students can appear in gate exam. if you get the good score or above the cutoff marks (which is different for every year based upon paper) than it means you are qualify for that exam
