For vjti jee main rank is considered.also for vjti you should be citizen of maharashtra(have domecile of maharashtra) it is done through DTE Maharashtra(www.dte.org.in)

VJTI mumbai takes student through there JEE mains rank. Since you JEE mains marks are not up to the mark, it would be difficult for you to get a seat in VJTI. You can take admission into some other engineering colleges.
