What is the procedure to apply for lateral entry? I am pursuing Diploma in mechanical engineering.

Is it possible to change branch in the lateral entry? Is it possible to get computer science and engineering branch? Are the lateral students eligible for placements like all other regular students?

You can take lateral entry. For that, you have to submit a NOC issued from past college and migration certificate. Admission will be allotted in that case when their is any vacant seat in respective year and branch.
