    *NIFT conducts the entrance exam, which is usually done on two days, so, a person gets two chances, and an aspirant can take the exam on both the days (the higher of the scores will be considered). If you score well enough, you are eligible to appear for the second round, which is the situation test round.
    *After some time, the results are announced, and the all India ranks are shown.
    *After this, the aspirant has to apply for the counseling session.
    *During the counseling session, the aspirant is given a list of the departments, and the centre, he is eligible to study in, depending on his/her rank, and is asked to choose from the give
