What is the procedure to apply for this course?

Eligibility: To be eligible for admission to the first semester of BBA LLB (Hons) degree programme, a candidate should have passed PUC/intermediate examination (10+2) or its equivalent recognised by any university by securing 45% (in case of SC/ST candidates 40%). For application and prospectus, send a DD in favour of The Principal, JSS Law College, Autonomous, Mysore 570023 Karnataka, India of Rs.300/- along with the self-addressed stamped cover of Rs.25. Admission Procedure: Admission to BBA LLB (Hons) programme is made purely on the basis of merit. The admission to the courses shall be subject to fulfilling the conditions stipulated in the regulations at the time of admission and production of documentary evidence of their eligibility. The candidate shall, after submission of duly filled application, appear before the admission committee for screening. The admission committee shall determine the eligibility of the candidate for admission. Admission for Foreign Nationals The foreign nationals seeking admission shall fulfil the eligibility criteria as the prescribed committee shall determine the equivalence for eligibility.

Students can apply for BA LLB admissions immediately after passing their class 12th board exams from a recognized institute. BA LLB is a 5 year integrated law course that deals with interdisciplinary topics such as law and arts subjects such as history, sociology, English, Economics etc . In BA LLB, the first 3 semesters are dominated by arts subjects and the rest of the 5 semesters contain law subjects. BA LLB Admissions can be done by students right after clearing their Class 12th board examinations. Students have to sit for various entrance exams that are conducted both at the national and state levels such as CLAT, AILET, MH CET Law etc. BA LLB Syllabus includes core subjects from the field of humanities such as Political Science, Sociology, History and from Law such as Family Law, International Law, and Constitutional Law.
