    After Masters, qualify NET exam and then go for Ph.D. Then you become eligible for the post.

    Hello, To become a professor, firstly you have to purse postgraduation. As it is the minimum eligibility criteria to become a Professor in India. After pursuing postgraduation and scoring at least 55% aggregate marks, you should apply for UGC NET Exam. The UGC NET (University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test) is conducted by National Testing Agency to select the deserving candidates for the post of Assistant Professor or awarding Junior Research Fellowship.
