The procedure to become an Architect in India - You need to pursue B.Arch course to be an Architect. Firstly, complete your 12th, register for NATA exams/JEE paper 2 exams and qualify in it to seek admission to a 5 year B.Arch Degree course, once the course is completed you become an Architect. To get admission in architecture course at graduate level, you need to score minimum 50% marks in 12th (Science) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Computer Science / Chemistry / Biology / Engineering Drawing and two other subjects. You need to sit for an entrance exam.
Some of the entrance exams in Architecture are :
-National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)
-Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED)
-School of Planning and Architecture Engineering Entrance Exam
-All India Engineering / Architecture Entrance Examination
