    Hello,
The process of calculating marks and overall checking in CAT exam is quite ambiguous, thus making it quite difficult to state accurately. One who obtains 100 percentile hasn't got full marks i.e. 300 out of 300. Rather no one has scored more than him/her in the exam, that's why he/she could obtain that score. For example, someone scoring 99.50 percentile has, in practicality, scored more marks than 99.5% of the total test-takers and only 0.05% people are ahead of him/her.
