The Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) for B.Sc Forensic Science is to pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants). There are many universities who floats Forensic sciences but the programme offered by LPU is considered to be the best as this University provides updated curriculum, pedagogy, internships and placements. LPU floats more than 250programmes out of which Forensic Science which is high in demand with eligibility as Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent . If you have studied PCM/PCB, then you can do Bsc forensic science. The basic criterion of eligibility is (10+2) or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and/ or Math as main subjects and a min score of 55%. Admission In reputed institutes is usually through entrance exam where as in other institutes you can take direct admission.
