Generally, crossing cut-off in JEE Mains can get you in an NIT during counselling. But that doesn't always happen. You need to perform a little more than just crossing over the cut-off. If you do well in Advanced, you will get into IIT. -
Admission in IITs and NITs is done through JoSAA counseling. -
