What is the procedure to get admission in LPU in CSE branch? I have given LPUNEST and I wanted to know the criteria for selection in the CSE

Hi, The easiest way to apply is through online mode: 1) Signup Register onto LPUADMIT with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No. , State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal, and your password will be set by you while registering on the portal. You will get mail on your registered email id regarding this. Login to the LPUADMIT with already created username/ password. 2) Apply for LPU NEST (Eligibility and Scholarship Test) 3) Book the Exam Slot and Appear 4) Result and Seat Allotment (Online Counselling) 5) Admission Thanks.

As per the current scenario of Lockdown and covid 19, you can take admission to LPU by going to their website even though I took admission with the online mode in 2019 even at that time I had more options like out campus admission offices and in-campus admission. As per CSE you should qualify LPU NEST with ith 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics, and English or equivalent. In CSE. LPU provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc.

Being a citizen of Jalandhar city I know about LPU. I would like to answer about this. In LPU there are a lot of friends of mine study. Some of them are in CSE. They told me that CSE is the branch that is the highest in placements at LPU. As per the official website of LPU, the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is defined as - Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST is a National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of Eligibility and Scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programme's test is applicable only for a scholarship. LPU NEST serves both purposes. Also, if you have qualified LPU NEST for Eligibility purpose, you can also improve your score for Scholarship purpose as well. For qualifying the LPU NEST for Eligibility purpose, around 40% marks are required but for Scholarship purpose, cut-offs are required to be qualified for LPU NEST. So, qualifying the same, you can proceed for Admissions. Admissions in LPU have started for most of the programmes. LPU is currently inviting applications for B.Tech in various streams, so you can apply from their website. As you have already given LPU NEST. Hi Ankita, I know how to apply for the admission after LPU NEST exam. Let me share the steps: STEP 1 - Login on admission. Lpu. In Get your scorecard/ rank. Fill in the seat preference. The student can give preferences which can vary in-stream and programme. In the first round of counseling, depending upon the seat availability and preferences filled by the candidates, a particular preference number would be allotted. Download the allotment letter and proceed with the admission step. STEP 2- Admission Deposit initial payment of Rs. 20000. After the successful realization of the payment: A Unique Provisional Registration No. Will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID. Upload the documents. Recent Photograph Matriculation Marksheet Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet. Also, if the applicant is claiming a scholarship on the basis of qualification previous to eligibility qualification he/ she is required to submit the previous qualifications exam certificate/ mark sheet also. In case the exam certificate/ mark sheet is not available at the time of filling this application form (recently appeared), it may be submitted later also. Address Proof Apply for residential / mess / transportation / parking facility as per the requirement. All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines. Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university.
