LPUs Hotel Management and Tourism Discipline prepares the students through an industry-endorsed curriculum and intensive service-oriented practicals with industry exposure in excellent infrastructure. The eligibility for the course is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. The School trains its students in the campus hotel named University Hotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff. The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchens and bakeries are equipped to enable students to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gadgets. We have four training restaurants to teach students about the authentic serving style of food and beverage. LPU labs are equipped with one front office laboratory, two housekeeping laboratories, two computer laboratories with 60 computers, and a simulation laboratory for aviation. Hi, one of my friend is already placed after pursuing hotel management from LPU let me just share the details for it. The eligibility criteria for this course is 50% with English + LPU NEST. You need to apply for LPU NEST from the LPU website. This course exposes students to lectures from experts. The students are provided with internships with hotels to relate theory with industry practices. The course inculcates Entrepreneurship to Build Job Providers of the Future. The teaching methodology involves Visual, Auditory, Read & Write and Kinesthetic experiences which allow the student learn by heart. Food festival on various occasions & events is a part of student learning wherein faculty gives practical teaching to the students.
