As you have not mentioned which graduation programme you are going to apply, I will add both *MS or M.Engineering: There are 2 types of Master's degree programmes (a) MS by research work (b) MS by coursework. Coursework is more like training to get a job, it includes not much research experience. MS research work is more like getting yourself immersed in research and thesis. Here, your lab or research-oriented works are more than coursework basis studies. But with GATE score only one can apply for MS research work in both NUS and NTU and coursework programme needs no GATE or GRE score but if the no. of applicants are huge they will sho

Hi,
MS research work you have to apply earlier. There are 2 intakes 1) Summer (Class starts from mid August ) 2) Spring (Class starts from mid Jan).
1. NTU: For NTU spring intake, application process starts from the mid-February and ends at the end of July and summer intake application starts mid-October and ends between mid-December and January.
2. NUS: For NUS Spring intake application process starts from mid-Jan and ends at the end of April and Summer intake application starts mid-August and ends mid-November. Things one should know :-
