What is the procedure to take admission or B.Ed in India?

Hi Hemant, Admission to B.Ed. Is done through entrance exam conducted by various states and institutions. Generally, the exam is conducted in the month of May or June and forms for the same are available online at the websites of respective institutes. Admission of candidates is subject to Cut Offreleased by the respective university subsequent to the B.Ed. Entrance exam. B.Ed. : Distance Education The minimum duration for B.Ed. Through distance education is two years, however, the maximum duration is five years. Admission to the distance mode programme is merit-based. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate in the undergraduate programme in any discipline and 55% in postgraduate programme. Along with this, candidates should have trained in-service teachers in elementary education or they must have completed a NCTE recognised teacher education programme through face-to-face mode. Selection Process for B.Ed Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam. The selection process is usually conducted in the month of September every year. In order to take admission in the course, candidates must appear for the entrance exam. After the exam, B.Ed result 2017 is announced along with merit list by the university which allocates ranks to the aspirants according to their performance. Separate lists are issued for each category and stream followed by counselling process during which students are granted admission. All the best.
