What is the procedure to take BAMS admission at Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU?

Institute of Medical Sciences BHU does not offer direct admission. IMS BHU primarily relies on national-level entrance exams like NEET-UG for undergraduate programs (like MBBS and BSc Nursing) and NEET-PG, NEET-SS, and NEET-MDS for postgraduate and super-specialty courses. After qualifying the relevant entrance exam, candidates must participate in the counseling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee. 

Institute of Medical Sciences BHU has affordable fee structure. The fee structure of the programme ranges between INR 10,000- INR 1.67 lakh. The fee structure of IMS BHU is a combination of various components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, and other security deposits, etc. Candidates need to pay the course fee as per the frequency set by the college.

Over the past three years, the cut-off ranks required for IMS BHU BDS admission have shown a declining trend. In 2024, the closing rank for the last round of BDS admission was 28,901 for the General AI category candidates. The same was 25,669 in 2023 and 23,284 in 2022.
