<p>The procedure to take MBBS admission at ACS Medical College and Hospital is as follows:</p><ol><li><p><strong>Eligibility</strong>:</p><ul><li>Age limit: The candidate should have completed the age of 17 years as on or before 31st January of the academic year when the candidate shall be appearing for NEET &ndash; UG examination.</li><li>The candidate must have passed 10 +2 (or equivalent) with subjects of Physics, Chemistry Biology/ Biotechnology and English.</li><li>The candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in English and 50 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology both in competitive exam and qualifying exam.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Qualifying examination</strong>:</p><ul><li>The candidate shall be admitted to the MBBS course only by scoring the minimum eligible score at the NEET UG exam.</li><li>In case of tie-in marks of the students appearing for NEET-UG, the respective marks obtained in Physics followed by Chemistry and further followed by Biology in the NEET-UG shall be considered.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Counselling</strong>:</p><ul><li>There shall be common counselling for admission to graduate courses in medicine for all Medical Institutions in India based on the merit list of the NEET-UG.</li><li>Counselling shall entirely be based on the seat matrix provided by National Medical Commission.</li><li>The institution shall submit the final list of students admitted, to the Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) within one week of the last date of the joining course.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Duration of Course of Study</strong>:</p><ul><li>First MBBS: 13 months</li><li>Second MBBS: 13 months</li><li>Third MBBS: (III Part I) MBBS : 10.5 months</li><li>Fourth MBBS: (III Part II) MBBS : 17.5 months</li><li>Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship (CRMI) &ndash; 1 year</li></ul></li></ol>
