JIPMER MBBS admission is entrance-based followed by MCC counselling. Candidates seeking admission should be Class 12 pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/OBC/OPH candidates). Eligible students further need to appear for the NEET-UG exam conducted by NTA.

Furthermore, the candidates need to apply for the JIPMER MBBS course through the official website of the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) after the declaration of NEET results. Following this, seat allotment is carried out during the counselling. Candidates after final selection have to report at the institute.
