What is the process for getting a job as an engineer at BHEL without qualifying through the GATE exam?

At the entry-level (Engineer Trainee) level, there is no option other than the formidable GATE exam to get an entry into BHEL at present. BHEL has three levels of employees: 1- Executive: Also called moral owners of the company, they start their careers as engineers and can go up to the director and CMD levels. They have selected through GATE the minimum educational qualification is a B.Tech. The average salary of a Executive Engineer at BHEL is INR 10.5 Lakhs PA. 2- Supervisor: Also known as the company's backbone and the link between workers and executives. The minimum educational qualification is a Diploma. They are chosen from all over India through a competitive exam. A supervisor starts his or her career as an assistant. An engineer can go as high as GM level. A supervisor can become an executive after spending 13 years in the supervisory cadre, and it is an excellent way to come into BHEL without qualifying for GATE. Supervisor salary at BHEL India ranges between INR 0.9 Lakhs to INR 5.0 Lakhs PA. 3- Artisans: they are a strong workforce; their minimum educational qualification is Industrial Training Institute (ITI).
