    The BTech Lateral Entry (LE) scheme is one of the lateral pathways that the Institute offers to its meritorious students of various Diploma levels and prescribed BVoc programmes. Candidates should fulfil the basic eligibility criteria to get admission to the BTech Lateral Entry programme. The criteria is that the candidate should have passed Class 12 with 50% aggregate in PCM from a recognised board along with scoring good marks in JEE Main. The candidates have to apply online from the institute’s official website. The application process usually begins in the month of April or May.

    The admissions are done on the basis of rank obtained in All India Rank of Joint Entrance Examination 2017 (JEE-2017) Main, which is conducted by CBSE.
    The candidates academic merit computed from the marks obtained in various pre-qualifying and/or qualifying examinations. The candidates have to apply online from the institutes official website.
    Filling up of online application forms commences in the month of April.
    Online application for B.Tech closes in the month of May.
