What is the process of getting admission in MSRIT, Bangalore through the lateral entry directly into 2nd year?
Diploma in mechanical engineering from Telangana which is approved by AICTE and my overall percent is 80%.

For B.Tech lateral admission in MSRIT Bangalore, you need to appear and qualify Diploma Common Entrance Test DCET conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Bangalore. The eligibility criteria is given below. Qualifications: Should have passed Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserve category) in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology from an approved institution.
