Dr. title is used by MBBS qualified doctors, BDS qualified dentists, Ph.D holders and qualified physiotherapists. Some alternate medicine professional also use Dr. in front of their names which is not approved by Medical Council of India. Eminent persons who are awarded doctorate for their excellent
