What is the process to become a CA?

Hi dear, There are two options. Either to start after class 12th or to go for CA after graduation. If you are starting after class 12th, you need to begin with enrolling for the CPT level first. On clearing this level you can enrol for either one group of IPCC or both. On clearing one group you can enrol for the articleship training for 3 years. Along with this, you need to complete orientation course of 35 hours and 100 hours of ITT training. On clearing both the groups you start preparing for the finals. You can appear for the exam six months prior to completing articleship. Thanks and all the best.

Hi dear, There are two options. Either to start after class 12th or to go for CA after graduation. If you are starting after class 12th, firstly, you will have to write CPT (Common Proficiency Test). After that IPCC (2 groups) thereafter an articleship of nearly 6 months and then the final exam. CPT is conducted twice a year in June and December. IPCC once in a year in November. If you start CA after graduation, CPT is waived off. Directly, IPCC comes in. Thank you and all the best.
