CAT/MAT/and other competitive exams are almost same. You must have command on quantitative aptitude, general English including grammar, vocabulary, comprehension etc along with general knowledge. All the best. -
You can prepare for MAT along with your preparation for CAT. You have to fill a form to apply for MAT. Similarly, like CAT website you will get MAT form on MAT's website.
