What is the prospect of an 22+years experienced ( in materials mgmt.job) person if he gets trained on SAP (MM) module ?

Person having served leading National and MNCs in the field of Supply chain Mgmt. (Purchase, Stores, Planning, Vendor Dev. Mgmnt. etc.) at the capacity of Manager. Worked in old ERP environment but not Exposed to / used SAP. What is his future job/ Change in job prospect if he gets trained on SAP -
