The main purpose of Environmental Law is to help protect the environment as well as human health. These laws help the future generations to save the environment and natural heritage. Since these laws are enforced by the government through Acts and other rules, the government has delegated the power to the concerned authorities to impose fines for violation of law and issue licenses with respect to environmental activities.
