<p>TNEA&nbsp; random number is a 10-digit unique number that is sued to break ties after all four tie-breaking rules have been applied. The TNEA merit list is determined based on a total mark of 200. In cases where multiple candidates achieve the same marks in the common merit list, the inter-se-merit among these candidates is determined based on the following priorities:</p><ol><li>Percentage of marks in Mathematics</li><li>Percentage of marks in Physics</li><li>Percentage of marks in the optional subject</li><li>Percentage of total marks in the 12th Standard Examination</li><li>Date of birth (with preference given to the elder candidate)</li><li>Random number (higher value will be given preference)</li></ol>
