The UP TGT PGT educational qualification is different for each post. Have a look at the based eligibility below for TGT and PGT post:
- TGT – Graduate Degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed
- PGT – Post Graduate Degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed

Qualification for TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher):
- Minimum Qualification: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject for which you're applying.
- Teacher Training: B.Ed. Degree or equivalent qualification like D.Ed. (Diploma in Education) with specialisation in a subject.
- Responsible for teaching subjects in classes 6 to 8.
Qualification for PGT (Post Graduate Teacher):
- Minimum Qualification: A Master's Degree (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., etc.) in the relevant subject from a recognised university with at least 50% marks.
- Teacher Training: B.Ed. Degree or equivalent qualif
